Here is the second pattern we received in February for Jo Morton's small quilt club. Last month's quilt I did in pink and browns. This time I went with navy and mustard. They're not my usual color choices, but I'm happy with how it turned out.
23''x18'' finished |
Next month I'll have to get back on track with posting history of the American Civil War along with them. I did watch 'Gone With the Wind' while piecing this though.
All fabrics are Jo Morton's (for Andover) Civil War reproductions.

SO BEAUTIFUL! For once in my life I am nearly speechless!
It's gorgeous!
I just watched GWTW too. :)
Really Lovely. I have always dreamed of doing something like that!
You are an excellent quilter, Katie. Corners are exquisite. Have you entered anything in a quilt show? hugs.
You have fingers in many pies, this is so well done! The colors are perfect for history, We see alot of that here in NEw England, especially that mustard yellow.
You are a woman of expanding talents, you go girl! xox Corrine
I love the colors! Very colonial - I also love the photo transfer pieces you did. Wish I lived near Portland! I'm also following your fabric journal - you've inspired me to try and embroider a face:) Have a wonderful week.
Beautiful. I absolutely love the colors you have used. Nice design. I am always so impressed with the quilts that you all make!
Have a fun day.
Hugs, Cory/Dogwood
That is gorgeous, wow, great job on that! I love the colors and patterns, you did an awesome job!!
nice sharp points, mine are always round. I think it has to do with me never being able to make heads or tails out of patterns. I'm a "wing it" kind of girl! got you letter, will write back soon.

Good morning. I like your fabric book idea, I'm not sure though that my projects would be tidy enough to fit into such a nice book.
Best wishes for all your projects.
Wonderful! And a perfect match to watch Gone With the Wind while making it!
First thanks for visiting my blog and your kind comment. Next you are an amazing quilter. It looks so perfect. Many moons ago I used to make quilts and I don't think any were this perfect! Your doll heads are wonderful too! You are very talented! Cheers..Donna
