Cuba: Darcy's Postcard Challenge

This week at Darcy's the country is Cuba! I hope to go there one day in my travels. When I think of Cuba, I think of the wonderful music, and vintage automobiles cruising the streets.
This week I did a gel medium photo transfer ( both images pulled from google) on a canvas panel and painted on layers, doodled, added some crackle, and played around until I liked it.

I decided I really want to send this one to a friend--- Is that bad I don't have more of my ladies' travels on the back? Hope you all don't mind. :0)

Oh YES! This really sums up the feel of Cuba, well done Katie.

Don't worry about not writing on back, the front is FAB enough!

ps what crackle paint do you use? You have much more success with yours than I do with mine.......x

wonderful canvas, it will make a great gift. Why dont you scan it and print it out so you have a copy and write your message on the back of that, then you can keep that with your other postcards...best of both worlds.

This is the art style that I aspire to. Loose. Interesting. Textured. Wonderful. Just love this piece. *smiles* Norma
