Canvas board postcards

I have been playing with paint and ephemera and making 5x7 collages. I like doing these on the small canvas boards and just writing the address on the back and mailing them like postcards. The folks at my post office seem to like them too.

Hi Katie. Thanks for visiting Zendoll. I love your canvas post card idea - it's the gift that keeps on giving as it passes through the postal system.

Hi Katie...I received your beautiful painted canvas postcard (Jill's valentine exchange) right on Valentine's Day! Thank you, I love it, and I recognized it because I had read this blog! Small world~ Thank you again!

These are lovely! I'm wondering how they cope with being sent through the mail? When I sent paper collage postcards through the mail, no matter how many coats of sealant I used, they still got damaged. I finally gave up and put them in an envelope.

I took all the mail art from the swap to work and had an art show. Your canvas postcard was a hit. Everyone liked that you sent it
"as is" through the mail. looking for a frame so I can hang it in my house.
thanks so much for being in my swap.
