Slightly icky Erosion Bundle

I actually had done two erosion bundles...I was so excited about the first that the next day I put one in the dirt again. This second one was filled with the sliced potatoes and tea bags from breakfast along with some papers with alcohol inks and a photocopy of one of my collages. And some herbs...can't rememeber what and they came out as black clumps.

This second bundle was kept away from the other for fear of bugs that would be attracted to the potatoes. Good thing, because there were some yucky worms and a cute little snail.
Here they are and my peice of fabric.

ewwwww!

3 month old potatoes

I will unearth my bigger erosion bundle in a few weeks too. Then I get to create some things with these treasures.

I love it! The potatoes made really cool marks. Who cares if you had a few bugs? Bugs are signs of a healthy enviroment.

Hello & thanks!

Love that 'eco printing' clever potato. Lovely worm (compost maker) nasty snail (seedling eater) ;) My erosion bundle's still hanging out there since Jan '10!

i like the faint print on the cloth put the worm back in the soil...not that keen on slugs and snails as they eat my plants!

You got some great effects from the potatoes! I wouldn't have thought of using them. I wouldn't like all the creepy crawliers though which is why my bundle was hung in a tree!

Looking forward to seeing what you create with your fabric.

Great fun! Now I don't think I'll have any critters in mine since it's been suspended in air, but I'll do it carefully anyhow. Hopefully, this week but not rushing since it went up in late Jan.
