Inchy by Inch: The Past

This week's Inchy By Inch challenge is "the past". I have had this fabric for a while and I thought this 1950s couple were great. The fabric has all different 50s scenes...and most of them are women baking and vacuuming and doing domestic chores. We all still have chores to do, but thankfully, no women I know are doing them in a dress and high heels with their hair done!

WHAT?! You don't wear HIGH HEELS doing your chores?!

Disgraceful.

I always put lipstick on and tidy my hair just before Mr Urbani comes home from work. I have a sweet sherry ready, his slippers are warmed and a cheap but nutritious meal waiting in the oven.

Fun inchy, Katie. Perfect fabric. very evocative of the time.

What a fab inchy - love that fabric - hate to tell you I do in fact have a friend who dresses up and wears high heels and make up when she cooks - lol!

Getting dressed up in the Pacific Northwest is a day I don't wear my layers of fleece jackets!

Great fabric!! Really pops, and I love the way the men dressed back in the 50's. I always tell my husband he would look fantastic and so manly in that era!!!
