Felted Pin Cushion

I love felting faces, but really hate making bodies. In the past they usually end up having giant wrestler arms and the proportions are way off. I decided with my new face I would sew a pin cushion body instead. I weighted it down with some beans and fiber filled the rest. Here is my new sewing room friend to watch my pins.

Hi Jackie, thanks for your comment on my Cadaveric post! Your pin-cushion lady is great fun, and a good way to get out of dealing with felting bodies, too. Maybe you could name her Porcupina, LOL!

Love how the face turned out and creative way to get away from having to make the bodies. The curl of hair on her forehead is a great touch!
