Bundle materials become book page

This year I participated in the Erosion Bundle Project. If you missed the post of what I placed in mine, and the results of months in the elements,  you can see it here.
I started out with this fabric book page for my ongoing art journey with fabric. I used fabrics and felted wool, lace, metal rings, and an old postcard to my Grandma. I loved the way the feather become affixed to it, and brushed on a layer of encaustic wax to seal it in. I added some embroidery for a little more texture.

I still have more to come, just waiting on the inspiration.
I have really enjoyed seeing what amazing things people are creating with their bundles. Go check them out! You won't be disappointed.

Thanks everyone for stopping by. I always enjoy hearing your comments. It makes my day! xo

I'm green with envy! I also made a bundle, looked longingly at it for months, and opened it on schedule. There was absolutely nothing there that I could salvage, very little activity on Mother Nature's part, not even a little mold. So, it went very quickly into the trash. Your project is so unique and creative. I love it!

hello katie I like the way your project turned out..I have still got loads of rusty stuff left over from when I made rusty bags with my stuff. Like the way you have used wax to encase the feather

Just stopped by from Stitchin' Fingers to say thanks for your comment on "The Pen" and to enjoy your fun blog. Your textile projects are so interesting--I notice you've got a few French knots in there too!

That feather is gorgeous and looks perfect the way you've sealed it in the wax. Great results with your bundle and I really like what you've done with the contents.

Wonderful use of the erosion bundle! I think your idea of using the wax to secure the feather is really great.
